Must Have Beauty Products

There are so many amazing beauty products accessible to us. If you are an indecisive person like I tend to be, making the “right” choice for your beauty routine can be a nightmare!!! From drugstore to high end products, and now all of the clean products, it is hard to even begin to narrow down a choice, let alone figure out what will work best for you. I love exploring new product launches and recommendations, but there are a few products in my vanity I will never trade in! These are my beauty must haves:

I grew up using Neutrogena products and used their makeup remover wipes for waterproof makeup for over a decade. These wipes never failed getting all my makeup off at the end of the way. I carried that little blue pouch everywhere! But in the past year, Billie, released clean, plant-based biodegradable makeup wipes, and kicked my Neutrogena wipes ass to the curb! I will never go back. Billie literally calls this product Wonder Wipes. Billie uses a fun holographic packaging and the wipes are infused with Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin C serum to not only remove all makeup residue, dirt, oil and even glitter! — but leave your skin glowing. And the best part about Billie, they send the wipes to your house every month!

Charlotte Tilbury products always make you glow. But her flawless filter pressed powder is a game changer. I personally love to use the shade Fair (it is the lightest one) to set my under eyes. I work really long days and this powder keeps my eyes in check all day long! It does have a pricey tag but totally worth it. I have not found another powder that compares.

I do not like to wear foundation for my eveeryday makeup; I have worn a tinted moisturizer for over a decade in its place. I was devoted to my Almay tinted moisturizer and thought I would be using it for the rest of my days. Unfortunately, they reformulated the product and the new product was thicker and cakey like a foundation. I prefer minimal coverage and it is also much better for my oily skin. I discovered this Laura Mercier Oil Free Tinted Moisturizer through a beauty facebook group. I am so stinkin grateful these girls recommended it to me! It is even better than the Almay one I used with the oil free option provided. AND it has suncreen in the formula! Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer for the win all around.

My Lancome mascara duo are a staple. If you do not use an eyelash primer, you need to add one to your makeup routine immediately! It is my secret to beautiful long lashes. There are a few other cosmetic brands that make a primer, but I am super sensitive to eye products and this brand has always been good to me. So why fix something that ain’t broken, right?

My favorite lip balm is Dior Lip Glow. I have one in every bag! This universal balm has the perfect your lips but better tint. Dior Lip Glow is a sheer balm that enhances your natural lips, adding moisture and a unique color to you. Pink Glow shade is my favorite but all shades are beautiful on all skin tones!

With my hair, I am constantly trying new products trying to find the perfect match. The hair product choices are endless and its no surprise that with the styling tools we use, our hair follicles need major help! Hair straighteners and curling irons, on top of having fine hair, leave my ends looking thirsty. I tried a few different creams and oils on the tips of my hair for years (Bottles last a long time!) until my hunt finally ended with Olaplex. The Olaplex Bonding Oil is perfectly weightless for my fine hair and smooths out my hair strands; it is also a heat protectant. I  put a coating on my ends before bed every other night and I will put a few drops on the ends, as well, if I am styling my hair with a heating tool. Olaplex does have a higher price tag for a small bottle, but trust me this bottle will last for months and the end result is well worth the money!

Living Proof hair products are literally a gift from heaven. I had been hearing all the amazing reviews about their products, especially their dry shampoo, but was hesitant to purchase with the price tag. The products are all around $30 with smaller bottles than other brands. BUT i finally caved, and it is absofuckinglutely worth it! I mean any products Jennifer Aniston promote are gold, right? This dry shampoo and volume spray are life changing. The smallest amount is needed and a bottle actually lasts a lot longer than you would think.

If you are like me and dread hair wash days, you will love these scrunchies! They are towel scrunchies from Kitsch that literally absorb all the water in your hair. I tie my hair in a low bunch and two twists over the bun with my Kitsch. No more water dripping down the back! Perfect for air drying hair or to just keep the water from soaking you until you are ready to style. The towel scrunchies come in a 2-pack and not to mention, they come in the cutest patterns! I obviously had to buy the leopard ones.

And for my absolutely essential makeup product, it is Anastasia Dipbrow. Anastasia Beverly Hills products are amazing overall, but the Dipbrow Pomade takes the crown. This little magic pot transforms brows. I do not leave my house without putting this on first. The pomade is waterproof and gives the perfect defined brow, so I can wear it all day and anywhere. I love a sculpted eyebrow but I have blonde hair. The Dipbrow tints my brows perfectly and gives me the bold brows I desire. It comes in 11 shades; I use the Taupe shade. It can be confusing selecting the shade match for your brows, so below is a guide to match your hair color with a pomade shade.

For all my girls that do not get enough sleep in a night, this is for you! I call this the magic eraser for dark circles. Needles no more no more baggage eye cream is literally a needle free solution to reducing the appearance of under eye baggage long term. Apply your daily moisturizer and pat this gel on top. The Dr. Brandt gel does have an orange/peachy hint making it perfect to wear with or without makeup!

I hope you enjoy my essential beauty products as much as I do!
