Fried Oreos
What You’ll Need:
- Egg
- Milk (any type)
- Vanilla Extract
- Pancake Mix (or from scratch: Flour, Baking Powder, Baking Soda)
- Cinnamon
- Sugar
- Confectioners Sugar
Whisk together the egg, milk and vanilla in a bowl. An egg and 1/4 cup of milk (I use vanilla almond milk) makes enough for 12 cookies. Add a teaspoon of vanilla. Add a cup of pancake mix, or roughly 1 cup flour, 1 tablespoon baking soda, 1 tablespoon baking powder, with 2 tablespoons of sugar. Combine together until smooth. The mixture should be thick like cake batter and be able to hold its shape with the cookie. Dip and coat each cookie completely with the batter. Let the excess batter drip off.
Line the basket of the air fryer with parchment paper, but DO NOT cover the entire basket. Leave an edge uncovered to allow air flow. Arrange the cookies flat on the parchment paper. Allow some room in between each. Air fry at 350 degrees for 7 minutes.
Remove the now golden brown Oreo from the parchment and dust with confectioners sugar.
Enjoy my favorite fair snack!
