Snowflake Martini
Ending off this snow filled week with a Snowflake Martini. It only seemed appropriate!
What You’ll Need:
- Vodka
- Blue Curacao
- Cream of Coconut
- Lemon Juice
- Coconut Flakes
- Honey
- Dessert Plates
- Cocktail Shaker
- Ice
- Martini Glass
Spread coconut flakes on one of the dessert plates and agave/honey on the other plate. I use Tres Agaves Organic Agave Nectar, but any kind of honey or agave syrup works. Dip the martini glass in the agave and twist to coat the rim. Then immediately do the same in the coconut flakes. Set glass aside.
In a cocktail shaker, mix 3 ounces of vodka, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, (The lemon juice can be freshly squeezed or bottled juice. If you like super sweet drinks you can also substitute for pineapple juice.) 1/2 ounce of blue curacao, 2 tablespoons of cream of coconut and ice. Shake vigorously until ice cold. Pour shaker contents into the martini glass.Â

This Snowflake Martini also makes a great mixed drink! Just pour the shaker contents into a pint glass over ice, and top off with coconut water. Another option, if you are a coconut fan, is to replace the Tito’s Vodka with a coconut rum.
