Cupid Made Me Do It
February 14th is my favorite. It is probably just because of my love for all things pink, glitter and hearts…and the fact that it involves lots and lots of chocolate! A little extra love is definitely in the air, but it doesn’t necessarily have to be romance. Whether you are celebrating a romantic holiday or having a Galentine’s weekend, I have rounded up date ideas and treats for you and your favorite babes! Breakfast Brunch is pretty much essential for any special occasion. Is is just me? I start the day off by making some fun heart waffles! Add red or pink food coloring for a little something extra. My Best Purchases of 2020
Every year I buy clothes, shoes, beauty products, home items, decor, groceries and all the things. But sometimes, there are some items I purchase and they leave me wondering how I have lived my entire life up until this point without them!? I rounded up my best purchases of 2020. These are all things I highly recommend that I discovered in the year of quarantine. Three of my favorite purchases of the year are life changing hair products, that reduce the hair wash days and still keep me looking fabulous: the Revlon One-Step Brush, the Mermade Hair Waver and Living Proof hair products. Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer Hot…

Vitamin ME
Did your mother yell at you to take your Flintstones vitamins everyday?! Mine definitely did! I struggle to remember to take my vitamins regularly to this day, but I still try to keep them a part of my routine. I guess you could say the importance of taking vitamins has stuck with me. Women, by design, are more “high maintenance” than men. We require the extra help to get the proper minerals and nutrients our body needs. There are SO many vitamin supplements available on the market (many I personally can not even pronounce) and then you have the multitude of brand choices that seem to offer essentially the exact…

Wear a Mask (and look cute while you do it!)
I have been wearing a face mask, Covid style, since the beginning of our country’s lock down. At this point, I do not even think about grabbing a mask, it has become a part of my daily routine. At work, I have to wear a mask for most of my day, so I had to go on a scavenger hunt for ones I could wear comfortably. Maskne is a whole other subject, but I needed masks that are breathable and that stay on my face without having to yank it up over my nose constantly. I have been on the hunt for all these months for the best masks on…

Hike More, Worry Less
Nothing compares to hiking through the natural beauty of the Adirondacks on a cool day. I know most of you might be thinking, “Alexis. you are not a wilderness girl!” In those regards you would be correct. I am a city girl at heart, but there is something about hiking up a mountain and gazing at that view when you reach the top. It is in the still silence of nature where we find our own bliss! Not to mention it is a great way to sneak in a workout! My family and I love to add a hike to our itinerary whenever we are in the Adirondack Mountain Region.…
