    Christmas Cosmopolitan

Thanks to Carrie Bradshaw and the rest of the girls on Sex and the City, Cosmopolitan martinis have been my go-to drink. I put a Christmas spin on Carrie’s classic cocktail. What You’ll Need: White Cran-Strawberry Juice Triple Sec Vodka Cocktail Shaker Ice Martini Glass Cranberries Rosemary Sprigs In a cocktail shaker, mix: 3 ounces of vodka, 1 ounce triple sec, the white cran-strawberry juice (add according to personal taste! I only use a splash), and ice. Shake vigorously until ice cold. Pour shaker contents into the martini glass. Garnish with cranberries and rosemary sprigs. You can crush up some of the cranberries and add them to the martini glass…

    Bad Santa Cocoa

Santa Claus loves his hot cocoa and I love my holiday Peppermint Mocha from Starbucks. So why not combine the two for a hot holiday drink?! What You’ll Need. Godiva Chocolate Liqueur Peppermint Schnapps optional Hot Cocoa Mix Frother Whipped Cream Candy Cane Mug Fill your mug a little more than half way with hot water. I usually use a tea kettle since I make at least two at a time. Add 1-2 scoops of your favorite powdered hot cocoa to the boiling water. My favorite way to make hot chocolate recently is with the Vital Proteins Hot Cocoa Collagen Latte mix. This mix not only has the benefit of…

    Vitamin ME

Did your mother yell at you to take your Flintstones vitamins everyday?! Mine definitely did! I struggle to remember to take my vitamins regularly to this day, but I still try to keep them a part of my routine. I guess you could say the importance of taking vitamins has stuck with me. Women, by design, are more “high maintenance” than men. We require the extra help to get the proper minerals and nutrients our body needs. There are SO many vitamin supplements available on the market (many I personally can not even pronounce) and then you have the multitude of brand choices that seem to offer essentially the exact…

    Sinntini

My favorite ‘sinner’ just had a birthday so I remixed one of our favorite martinis, resulting in a more tart cocktail. This yummy recipe is a sour patch lemon drop. What You’ll Need: Papaya Puree Lime Juice Lemon Juice Vodka Limoncello Lemon Cocktail Shaker Ice Martini Glass Dessert Plates Sugar Agave/Honey Spread sugar on one of the dessert plates and agave/honey on the other plate. I use Tres Agaves Organic Agave Nectar, but any kind of honey or agave syrup works. Dip the martini glass in the agave and twist to coat the rim. Then immediately do the same in the sugar. Set glass aside. In a cocktail shaker, mix:…
