Red, White & Blue Spread
July fourth this year hits a little different. I don’t know about you, but I am excited to have BBQs, all the food & drinks and fun times with family and friends. And I always love a good theme! I put together my favorite red, white & blue cocktails, as well as BBQ must haves that we enjoy over the holiday weekend. The fourth of July is a fun time to make everything red, white and blue. Cute American flag and star spangled clothes are obviously a must have, and I also love to make patriotic ice cubes. In ice cube trays, freeze red and blue fruit in water in…

Tequila Lime Juice Cotton Candy Limoncello La Croix Ice Shaker Rocks Glass In a cocktail shaker, mix: 2 ounces lime juice and silver tequila (I do 3 ounces but adjust for personal taste). Shake the cocktail vigorously to create a froth. Top the drink off with Limoncello La Croix. Stir the settled sugar at the bottom…

Fried Oreos
What You’ll Need: Egg Milk (any type) Vanilla Extract Pancake Mix (or from scratch: Flour, Baking Powder, Baking Soda) Cinnamon Sugar Confectioners Sugar Whisk together the egg, milk and vanilla in a bowl. An egg and 1/4 cup of milk (I use vanilla almond milk) makes enough for 12 cookies. Add a teaspoon of vanilla. Add a cup of pancake mix, or roughly 1 cup flour, 1 tablespoon baking soda, 1 tablespoon baking powder, with 2 tablespoons of sugar. Combine together until smooth. The mixture should be thick like cake batter and be able to hold its shape with the cookie. Dip and coat each cookie completely with the batter.…

There really are no exact measurements to this; eyeball the amount needed according to how much chicken is being used. If you do not add enough spices and breadcrumbs initially, you can always add more at a later time. Sift all dry ingredients together and set bowl aside. In two separate bowls, add the eggs to one and flour to another. Lineup the three…

Set glass aside. In a cocktail shaker, mix 3 ounces of vodka, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, (The lemon juice can be…

And what better way to add a little romance to Valentine’s day or a wedding day/shower than a little champagne and strawberries? No matter the occasion these strawberry champagne cupcakes are the perfect treat. What You’ll Need: For the Cupcakes: 3 cups of Flour 3 teaspoons of Baking Powder 1 teaspoon of Salt 2 cups of Sugar…

Cotton Candy Champagne
Cotton Candy and champagne, is there any better combo?! What You’ll Need: Cotton Candy Candy Hearts (I recommend the Sour Patch Kids candy hearts! The original candy hearts will dissolve instantly in the champagne, and the Sour Patch still have fun sayings!) Brut Champagne Wine Glass Fill a wine glass with Brut champagne of choice. The cotton candy adds a lot of sugar to the cocktail so I highly recommend only Brut! Top with cotton candy until it covers the mouth of the wine glass. Place the candy hearts in the champagne and enjoy! The cotton candy will eventually fall in the glass and disintegrate in the champagne. the candy…

Super Bowl Menu
The Super Bowl is not only an American tradition but it is a great excuse to get your friends and family together for a day of yummy food and drinks! It only happens once a year, so have to do it justice! Football is basically synonymous with large quantities of food. Any finger food works and make it football themed when possible. Add a lot of American classics to the menu like, chips and dip, sliders, wings, nachos and charcuterie boards. I typically throw in a football themed dessert: this year and most years it is football rice krispie treats. Buffalo Chicken Dip What You’ll Need: Full Rotisserie Chicken Shredded…

I use about 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and 2-3 teaspoons of lime juice), and ice. Shake vigorously until ice cold. Pour shaker contents into the rocks glass. Garnish with an orange pinwheel. Whiskey Sour with Makers Mark Whisky Bourbon and mixed with Pure Leaf Lemon tea, Tres…
